Michael has been the pastor of First Presbyterian since Easter of 2012. His favorite part of the job as pastor is spending time with the people. You will often find him visiting homes, hospitals, and nursing facilities. He has been married to his wife, Pam, since April of 2008. They have three grown children, Jonathan, Jesse, and Gracie. In his free time, Michael enjoys wood projects, gardening, and photography.

Linda has been the Church Administrator since October of 1995. Her favorite part of the job is interacting with the members. She oversees the daily work of the church, its finances, and assists Michael with various tasks. She is married to Keith, and has two grown children Ashleigh and Tyler. Linda has three wonderful grandchildren: Levi, Lexi, and Westyn. Her hobbies include camping, reading, shopping, spending time with family, beach trips and watching her son race motocross.

We are excited to introduce the newest member of our staff, Sheri Brazelton. She is our new Music Director! Sheri is a private voice teacher and owner of BrazelDazzle Studioz, a performing arts studio for local youth. She brings over a decade of teaching and performing experience with a passion for finding, creating, and worshipping through music. Sheri and her four boys moved to Hendersonville in 2010. Grown men now, they live in Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, and Boston. She loves watching football, cooking, and doing yoga.
She also keeps up with her dog Kirk, an Aussiedoodle. We are so excited to welcome Sheri to the First Presbyterian family!

Lee has been a church musician since childhood, starting out by playing piano for his father’s church in upstate New York. He attended Potsdam College, where he graduated with a B.A. in Communications. In 2004, Lee relocated to Nashville where he has served both permanently, and as a substitute, at Methodist, Episcopal, Anglican, Catholic, Charismatic, and, most recently, Presbyterian churches (although he has yet to be asked to serve at the Church of Christ). When not at the church, Lee spends time at his non-profit Graphic Design Company, which specializes in advocacy for marginalized and underserved communities. His hobbies include looking after a stray cat, participating in Spanish classes (if anyone wants to practice, please reach out), and riding his bike. He describes himself as a lazy cyclist, but has somehow managed to live car-free in the USA for the past decade…proving that with God, all things are possible. Welcome, Lee!
